From its humble beginning in 1988 until becoming a front liner in the rubber industry, Samson International PLC has written a tale that is entrenched with excellence during its quest to be positioned as a leader in rubber manufacturing in Sri Lanka.

1988 - Incorporation

listed in Colombo stock Exchange

1994 -

Became the first rubber manufacturing company in Sri Lanka to obtain ISO 9001 certification

1995 -

Started manufacturing rubber ho5 water bottles with British standard and TUV certification

2007 -

invested in the first microwave continues vulcanizing machine in Sri Lanka

2009 -

Acquired all assets of Aksel (Pvt) Ltd in Kaluthara

2011 -

Recognized as the best value added rubber product exporter in Sri Lanka for the first time at National Export Awards

2013 -

celebrated its silver jubilee

2014 -

Acquired all assets of Okta PVC Lanka (Pvt) Ltd which manufacture PCV products.

2015 -

Started manufacturing products with FSC certification

2016 -

Received Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) certification

2017 -

Received ISO 14001 certification for Environmental Management Systems. Received ISO 50001 certification for Energy Management Systems

2020 -

Recognized as the best value added rubber product exporter in Sri Lanka for the 6th consecutive year at the NCE export awards.
